Sand in the Sandwiches Tickets

I found the play a bit boring and monotonous. regrettably Edward Fox's voice did not carry well and his speaking was not clearly audible - i was in the Royal Circle. The second half was a little better but the production had the feeling of - 'I think I am good enough to hold a London audience for two hours' which was not the case from my point of view. The production would have benefited from more action and one or two more cast members.

Excellent entertainment. They don't make them like Edward Fox any more. He clearly loved his subject and delivered in his own inimitable way.

We enjoyed the evening but found Mr Fox's diction sometimes a little difficult to follow. But, overall, a masterly performance.

Edward Fox was superb. He is a national treasure. The script was superb. A fantastic night at the theatre.

A thoroughly enjoyable show, well written and acted at a reasonable price.

Edward Fox was magnificent. He brought Betjeman himself and his wonderful poetry to coruscating life.
