Thrown together for one eventful night that pulses with conflicting
passions and a surprising edge of humour, a group of tourists including Shannon, a disgraced priest (Clive Owen), and a troubled artist Hannah (Lia Williams) arrive at a remote coastal Mexican hotel run by the beautifully sensual Maxine (Anna Gunn).
Tennessee Williams’s last great play THE NIGHT OF THE IGUANA comes to the West End starring Clive Owen (Closer, Children of Men), Lia Williams (Kiri, Mary Stuart), Anna Gunn (Deadwood, Breaking Bad) and Julian Glover (Game of Thrones) directed by James Macdonald (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf).
One night brings them together, and will leave them forever altered. What path will they choose?

Very intense play - well acted and delivered!
Really enjoyed the play, thought the cast were really good.
It took my breath away! Performance full of heart and humanity. The production was absolutely amazing! Rain!
Faultless,
Not a great play but fine production and good to excellent performances.
Excellent production, get better as the play proceeeds
Very nice
Outstanding performances!
Fantastic performance from the 3 leads. Williams, Gunn and Owen were terrific!
An absolutely stunning performance from Lia Williams, seizing every opportunity provided by Tennessee Williams (and no other playwright has ever offered such opportunities to actresses.) For her performance alone the evening would have been a success. Add in Clive Owen's tortured ex-priest with a destructive streak of self-pity, some strong support and impressive technicals - and make it available at the Today's Tickets reduced price so that we lesser-earning mortals can afford it - what more could ask of London Theatre!
Fantastic play and actors
Wonderful production of a thought provoking exceptional play I loved it I was so glad I got a ticket. A brave play to stage in our politically correct age. It was searingly honest about the human condition three dimensional warts and all so to speak! The set design was superb and added to the atmosphere The theatre is lovely not too big but all the seats gave a good view of the stage. The Bar was very friendly especially the nice young man in the upstairs bar who let me eat my sandwich there when I had arrived there early. I did buy a drink in the interval there because of that. It was a perfect evening

London Theatre Review: The Night of the Iguana at the Noel Coward Theatre
It’s sometimes odd to be crammed into a warm auditorium, amongst your tribe of fast-paced, fidgety Londoners – to wait as those lights dim, and see everyone falling into a trance-like silence for two and a half hours. It’s even more odd when the fixation of that trance is a quiet hotel drama on a battered veranda, with no set changes, few props (save a few chairs and bags being lugged on and off stage) and a small, often mercurial cast. It can only mean one thing – Tennessee Williams has brought everyone abruptly into a deep emotional maelstrom, and The Night of the Iguana is in motion.
